Overview
Offline Monopoly Cash App ("the App") is a utility application that helps users manage in-game currency for board games. The App operates entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to function.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data. The App:
- Does not require user registration or accounts
- Does not collect names, email addresses, or contact information
- Does not collect location data
- Does not collect device identifiers
- Does not use analytics or tracking services
- Does not contain advertisements
Crash Reporting
To find and fix bugs, the App sends an automatic report when it crashes or stops responding. Reports are processed by Bugsnag (SmartBear Software) and contain only technical information:
- The technical details of the crash (the code location and error type)
- App version, Android version, device model and manufacturer
- Free memory and storage, screen orientation, and whether the App was in the foreground
- A random installation identifier used to count how many devices are affected. It is not linked to you or your Google account.

Local Data Storage
The App stores game session data locally on your device only. This includes:
- Player names entered during gameplay (chosen by users, not real names required)
- In-game balances and transaction history
- Game settings and preferences
This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Network Usage
The App creates a local network connection using your device's WiFi hotspot feature. This is used solely for:
- Allowing other players to connect to your game session via their web browsers
- Transmitting game state between the host device and connected players
All network communication occurs locally on your WiFi hotspot network. No data is transmitted over the internet.
Permissions
The App requires the following permissions:
- WiFi State: To detect network configuration for local connections
- Internet: Required by Android for the local network server, and used to send anonymous crash reports
- Notifications: To show an ongoing notification while your phone is hosting a game so Android keeps the game running in the background. Declining this permission does not affect gameplay.
- Foreground service: Keeps the game server running while you switch apps or lock your screen
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is a simple utility for board game play and contains no inappropriate content.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Bugsnag solely for crash reporting, as described above. It does not integrate with any analytics platforms, advertising networks, or social media platforms.
Data Security
No personal data is collected or transmitted, so there is no personal information to be exposed through our App. Crash reports are sent over an encrypted connection.
